Aux Epices x Peachy’s

Meaning “with spices” in French, Aux Epices is a cozy destination for savory French-Malaysian fusion food. The quaint locale is outfitted in black and white tile, a rustic tin ceiling and creamy leather banquettes. Their soups and curries, tender meats and savory buns are made homestyle—with favorites like seafood laksa (shrimp, mussels, salmon, calamari, tofu, eggplant, bean sprouts with yellow coconut curry broth and Japanese Udon noodle), crispy anise duck rolls (minced duck, taro, carrot, spicy orange sauce), and rendang lamb (roasted coconut, galangal, curry spices) starring the menu.

This secretive, sophisticated bar is the kind of place where you two should savor your drinks slowly. A hot destination for celebs—including the Kardashians, Vanessa Hudgens, and Post Malone—the subdued glow of the pink lights and cascade of hanging cherry blossoms at Peachy’s will enthrall you and your S.O. before you’ve even sat down. Sweet things to sip on include the Tiger Balm (tequila blanco, grapefruit Szechuan oleo saccharum, lime, tajin), the Kung Fu Pandan (gin, pandan, kaffir lime, aquafaba), and the Kunlun (Philippines rum, coconut orgeat, tonka, tiki bitters, lime, pineapple).
