Bacon & Beer Classic x Lemon Ice King of Corona

PLAN DATE: SAT / SEP. 29

PLAN DETAILS:

Bacon. Beer. The two are clearly a match made in heaven. That’s why Cannonball Productions is bringing its highly acclaimed, nationally-touring Bacon and Beer Classic to the USTA National Tennis Center in Queens, today only! Play giant Jenga, bob for bacon, dance to live music, party in a Biergarten and so much more, all while indulging in unlimited suds and grub. The braver of the two of you can even compete in their bacon eating contest for the chance to win a year of free Black Label bacon. Over 50 NYC restaurants are involved, serving up their most original bacon dishes. You have three ticket options: General Admission, Power Hour, or VIP. General Admission tickets start at $69. There will be two sessions, afternoon from 1 pm—4 pm and evening from 7 pm—10 pm.

We know you probably just consumed an absurd amount of food and drink, but in case you want to top the day off with something sweet, we recommend walking down the block for some Italian ice at The Lemon Ice King of Corona. With a super low-key, no-frills vibe and outdoor walk-up service, their flavor list goes all-in on expanding on the classics, including everything from cantaloupe and rum raisin to pina colada and fruit cocktail. Also, if you’re a slave to sitcoms, then you’ll probably notice that this place has had its fair share of cameos on The King of Queens (meaning it’s definitely worthy of a quick selfie photo op).
