PLAN DATE: FRI / NOV. 2
Tonight we’re very excited to be featuring the next Brooklyn Art Song Society concert at The Brooklyn Historical Society. This season’s theme revolves around American Iconoclasts, namely, five uniquely American voices: Charles Ives, the Visionary; Samuel Barber, the Romantic (tonight!); Ned Rorem; the Master; Aaron Copland, the Populist; and George Gershwin, the Jazzman. In short, it’s the lushly romantic and stirring performance you and your musically-inclined lover need for your next date night. On top of all that, you’ll be sitting in Brooklyn Historical Society, surrounded by books and coziness. We can’t think of a more perfect fall evening.
Tickets are normally $25/person, but for idk couples, tickets are just $10 with code “Premium” at checkout. To learn more about tonight’s theme, head to BASS’ website here.
Before you head to the concert, we recommend stopping at Elsa’s art deco bar for one of their high-quality cocktails. Elsa is inherently romantic, and thus, a perfect pre-game for a night of romantic music. The drinks are organized by spirit, so you’ll have no issue navigating their menu and finding the perfect drink. We’re privy to their tequila/mezcal — try the Golden Fang with wildflower honey and pink Himalayan salt.
Tickets, $10 with code "Premium"

idk tip: They’re one of the few bars that feature Absinthe drinks: Werewolf Season (with chili liquor and egg white) and The Broken Mirror (with mint and dandelion bitters).
