Cha Cha Matcha x NYC Pride Parade

Just as matcha won a place in our hearts as a caffeine vehicle, Cha Cha Matcha has won it’s standing as a hip café. Drag your lover there early and let the pink and green tropical decor cheer you out of a morning funk. Along with the classic matcha latte option, there are also drinks using ginger and turmeric or lavender flavoring. They have frozen yogurt, but if you need a steadier option this early there’s also a variety of pastries, each as adorably decorated as the café.

After breakfast, head over to 5th ave to be a part of the NYC Pride Parade. The parade is an iconic Pride event, and since this year is World Pride it’s guaranteed to be bigger and better than ever. Grab a spot among the barriers nice and early so you can watch the endless stream of floats and marchers, both frivolously fun and political in nature. The parade lasts a few hours so spend as much or as little time watching depending on how many corporate freebies you want to get thrown at you.
