PLAN DATE: WEDS / SEP. 26
Breakfast for dinner, lovers? Clinton Street Baking Co. is renowned for its brunch (and those pancakes, damn), but their dinner menu is nothing to scoff at. Especially because it has an entire section dedicated to “breakfast for dinner” including those famous pancakes (go for the banana walnut or chocolate chunk), huevos rancheros, and latke eggs benedict. Otherwise, they have burgers, award-winning fried chicken, and shakes from Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory.
After your dinner/breakfast, it’s time for a show at Teatro LATEA (Latin American Theater Experiment Associates), a performing arts theater company that’s been a Latino cultural staple for over 30 years. The last Wednesday of every month they feature a new play, a new playwright and let everyone in for free. See what’s on deck this month here.
Lower East Side
Clinton Street Baking Co.
4 Clinton Street, Manhattan
idk tip: If you do intend on coming here for brunch, prepare for a wait. Dinner should be less of a zoo.
107 Suffolk Street, Manhattan
idk tip: The theater fits about 120 people, feels very intimate and has a bar. So that’s cool.
