Coast and Valley x The Palace

If you know wine, you know that California produces some of the best in the US, in some cases the world. Coast and Valley, a new wine bar in Greenpoint is focused on bringing that wine to the East Coast and pairing it with a clean, fresh menu. The setting is simplified elegance at its best, with an overall modern aesthetic and minimalist color palette; beechwood chairs, polished cement flooring all add to the airy vibe. The wines are available by the glass in an effort to mimic the wine tasting experiences the founders experienced on the West Coast. The food menu reads with a Californian influence too, think poached chicken with avocado and charred cucumber with ginger-buttermilk sauce for the perfect lunch or dinner dish, and desserts looking like olive-oil cake with plums, plum sauce, and vanilla-bean crème fraîche. Healthy wine drinking?

It’s all about the good times at The Palace, a female owned and operated dive bar—hidden away in Greenpoint just enough to keep it a secret from the crowds looking for a “cool” place to drink and dance. The Palace is the bar you’ve been looking for all of your adult life—an awesome DJ, a chill crowd, a D-Floor reminiscent of the ones you’d find at a house party and zero pretentious attitudes. Did we mention really good drinks and service? Yes, it can be a real thing and it’s the best end to your best night.
