Times Square, of course, where you’ll need to start lining up at 3PM to secure your spot at Broadway and 7th Ave, with performances starting at 6PM and fireworks going off every hour. Head uptown and you can watch from several points in Central Park, like Bethesda Fountain and Sheep’s Meadow. In Brooklyn, Prospect Park is lovers’ best bet, where the ideal vantage point for the fireworks going off in Long Meadow is at Grand Army Plaza, inside the park on West Drive and along Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street. And last but not least, if you and your love are feeling a little playful, try some rides before the show at Coney Island, where viewing is best at either Coney Island Boardwalk or Brighton Beach Boardwalk.
