PLAN DATE: TUES / MAY 21
You and your lover will be considering starting a thruple with whoever Andrea is after a night at the Northern Italian spot. Da Andrea has a cozy and unfussy vibe that starts with simplistic decor: just wooden tables, warm yellow walls, and a few faded art pieces. Essentially, it’s your Italian grandmother’s house, if you were lucky enough to have one of those. The menu continues this laid back vibe with homemade, fresh pasta from pappardelle to gnocchi all under $20. You’ll pay a bit more for one of their meat entrees, but it’s worth it for a porkchop you can tell was made with love. Wash it all down with something from their extensive wine list and leave the rest to their attentive staff and the romantic atmosphere.
Bring all the energy you stored during a quiet dinner and bring it to Secret Loft for the Wild Things Comedy Show which promises to be wild, comedic, and a show (jury’s still out on how “thing”-y it is). This show is packed with established talent, with the line up boasting Netflix specials, Comedy Central shows, and spots on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The price for this level of talent is under $10, and also gets you free pizza to snack on during the show. Here’s hoping it’s only the pizza and not the acts that’s cheesy.
