PLAN DATE: TUES / OCT. 24
We’ve got a three-parter for lovers in Astoria if you’re up for it tonight. Starting with the best pho in a chill urban setting at District Saigon, moving nearby for a cocktail at Sek’end Sun (at only $10, they’re some of the best and cheapest we’ve found in the city) and finishing the night with a sweet bite and coffee at Omonia Café Next Door. Their pastry menu is extensive, but trust us when we say you can’t go wrong with the Kok (pronounced coke, get your head out of the gutter), two disc-shaped sponge cakes filled in between with a thick layer of vanilla custard and topped with chocolate. Bless you, Tuesday night.

idk tip: It’s still relatively new, as it opened in 2016 when father and son Lam and Michael Lien, partnered with family friend and pho aficionado, Louis Leun.
