PLAN DATE: WEDS / NOV. 14
Tonight starts with a glowing dinner at EN Japanese Brasserie. Its modern, zen garden design is complemented by clean lines, two wraparound bars (one around the exposed kitchen, one around a legit interior garden), and an exposed, industrial-style ceiling to break up the Japanese aesthetic. We’re especially obsessed with the plating, and how they incorporate slate, stones, and handmade clay bowls into the experience.
If you’re the kind of couple that can’t go home until something sweet has entered their system, we’ve got your backs. Milk and Cookies Bakery is only a few blocks away nestled on a tree-lined West Village street. They churn out fresh-baked cookies (get the dark chocolate toffee), bars (the salted caramel chocolate brownies are stupid good) and custom ice cream sandwiches (yes, you can get an M&M cookie sandwich with vanilla gelato stuffed in between). Happy sugar rushes!
