Escape Virtuality x Ferris

Strap on your sneakers, because Escape Virtuality will get your hearts pumpin’… and not just ‘cuz it’s date night. As New York City’s exclusive entertainment complex, this is a go-to for couples that want to explore VR and escape rooms. There’s a lot of options to choose from, so you may want to peruse them a few hours in advance. If you’re good under pressure, try the runaway subway escape room. You and your honey will have 60 minutes to figure out how to stop a moving train before it crashes. Or if you happen to be into ghosts (who isn’t?), you can visit with some of New York City’s notorious ghouls. Your mission? Stop them before they can escape and wreak havoc on the streets.

And since you’re sure to work up an appetite, when you’re finished, stroll on over to Ferris. Located in the MADE Hotel, it’s a New American menu serving up eclectic flavors in cozy digs. There are only 40 seats, so you may want to make a reservation in advance. But trust us, it’s worth it. Try the Forbidden Rice if you dare or the Wagyu beef if you feel like treating yourself. As for cocktails? Try the Ninth Petal. A gin-based drink with vermouth and jasmine, it’s sure to go down easy.
