PLAN DATE: TUES / APR. 23
If you want to indulge in delicious flavor without any post-meal regret, check out Foragers Table. This farm-to-table, New American restaurant has an ultra-modern industrial-style design with accents of raw influence (see: a cement floor and exposed ceiling paired with natural wood finishes and an excess of natural light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows). The menu highlights here include the rye trumpet bolognese with lamb, brown beech mushrooms, and lollipop kale, their creamy potato and mascarpone gnocchi, and their unique spin on rhubarb tart, which is whipped up with yogurt custard, maple pecan cookie, and strawberry goat’s milk gelato.
After dinner, make your way over to the Cambria Hotel for Rooftop Jazz (hint: it’s on the roof). These free-admission concerts are part of the hotel’s weekly jazz showcase and include some delicious drink and appetizer specials in the gorgeous outside lounge. April 30th is their first performance for the 2019 season—it runs from 6-9 pm, and if the weather acts up, don’t worry—they’ll move the show inside to the first-floor lobby. The series runs every Tuesday until June 25th, and if you’re the kinda couple that likes knowing the “who’s who” of the night, they announce the lineup beforehand on their website.

idk tip: Foragers is actually one-half restaurant and one-half grocery store, so definitely consider coming back to peruse their unique organic selections.
123 West 28th Street, Manhattan
idk tip: As much as you might want to cut the rug here, they actually advise against dancing, preferring guests that are more stationary than sprightly.
