PLAN DATE: WEDS / FEB. 6
There’s never anything wrong with a classic date, and tonight we’re doing dinner and a movie–especially to get you and your love through the middle of the week. Hit up Hungry Bird in the Bronx for some casual, counter-service Indian food that’s easy on the wallet as well. Stick to the classics like chicken tikka masala, chana masala, or the lamb vindaloo, and be sure to start with some veggie samosas. Complete the meal with a mango lassi and you won’t leave hungry.
Afterward, walk hand in hand over to Concourse Plaza Multiplex Cinemas, and catch a popular Hollywood flick tonight. It’s a slight walk, but worth it: while still having an old-school feel, the recently-renovated spot now sports comfy, spacious reclining chairs. So hit up the concession stand, grab a seat and enjoy the show. You can take a look at what’s playing here.

idk tip: For something new, try going vegetarian or vegan for the night–with these bold flavors, you won’t miss the meat.
