PLAN DATE: SAT / OCT. 7
We’re going to stop you before you read any further: this is an expensive night out. Expensive, but unforgettable. A “save it for a special occasion” date night. Jungsik is a Michelin-starred new-wave Korean restaurant in Tribeca. We’ve paired it with Belle Reve, a cool Southern bar to close out a beautiful experience (just in case you don’t want it to end).

2 Harrison Street, Manhattan
The tasting menu is the (only) route to take here. Course after course, you’ll be delighted at the intricate tastes (some traditional, most updated in some form or another) of Korean small plates. The service, however, is the stand out performance.
idk tip: Not to be crass, but the toilets in this restaurant are straight out of the future.
305 Church Street, Manhattan
Belle Reve brings Southern charm to the big apple. It’ll be a sure departure from the fine dining you just experienced, but we think opposites attract.
idk tip: Try one of their Shandies, like Scheperd’s Grotto with Schofferhofer Grapefruit, rye, and lemon.
