PLAN DATE: WEDS / NOV. 29
Who knew there was a Japanese speakeasy in Fort Greene? Well, now you do. It’s called Karasu, and it’s located behind a door at Walter’s. It has a small, sophisticated menu meant to be shared, and brilliant cocktails reinvented to go perfectly with their cuisine. We recommend the Love Supreme with rye, campari, pineapple, and antica vermouth.
Keep the mystery of the night going with your next stop: Dick and Jane’s, another low-key cocktail den hidden behind an unmarked door. The music is a mix between old-tine classics and current hits, and the bartenders make drinks quickly and properly. It’s tiny, so expect either a wait or to be a little overcrowded — but it’s definitely worth a visit on date night.

idk tip: The seaweed salad, clams and Udon make the perfect shareable meal here.
