Le Turtle x Mr. Purple

They say the grass is always greener on the other side—and Le Turtle is the other side. With trendy, veggie-friendly vibes (don’t worry, there is plenty of meat on the menu), this French New (New) Wave restaurant is all about stylized flair, from their Sasso Chicken for Two (with charred feet still attached, as well as a lively flame) to their Mushrooms with Perigord Truffle. The decor is experimental-chic, with lots of gold, pink, and marble to keep your inner artisan happy. And, if you’re trigger-happy with your camera, it’s an Instagrammer’s paradise.

Next, head to Hotel Indigo, take the elevator up to the 15th floor and step out to find Mr. Purple, a sophisticated bar with views of the city and minimalistic urban inspiration to spare. With very modern touches—from the black and grey palette to the open concept, industrial design—Mr. Purple has a cool, but almost homey vibe, making it the ideal nightcap venue. Just be sure to spoil yourselves on their craft cocktail list (we especially love their fruity Toucan Sam and their relaxing Darjeeling Palmer).
