Littlefield

635 Sackett Street, Brooklyn

Kaki King, an incredible guitarist, is playing at Littlefield in celebration of her new album, “Live at Berklee” which was released on September 22nd (after a 2-year hiatus!). She’s joined by the Porta Girevole Chamber Orchestra, so you know you’re in for something magical.

idk tip: Doors open at 7:30, show starts 8:30, and tickets are $15.

Black Mountain Wine House

415 Union Street, Brooklyn

What we love about Black Mountain is that it serves up delicious wine and cheese in the most un-pompous setting. Instead of velvet and gilding, or glam-rustic decor, Black Mountain boasts upstate charm, from its unfinished porch to its mismatched accents.

idk tip: Love the food? Drop in on another night, too — the menu is always rotating.
