PLAN DATE: FRI / APR. 26
Pizza is not only one of the most perfect foods, but one of the easiest to order, so it can become something of a staple. Rediscover what’s special about pizza with your special one at the Make Pizza Drink Wine class. This popular class brings in renowned chefs Robert and Giorgia Caporuscio to teach you the history and techniques for Neapolitan pizza. Your attention will be well-rewarded with complimentary house wine and appetizers like fried burrata and fresh mozzarella from the Kesté kitchen. At the end of the class, you’ll taste not only pizza but also your own success and satisfaction at avoiding another delivery night. The class runs until May 30th.
Celebrate your newfound freedom from hot and readys by enjoying drinks at the nearby Stout NYC. This bar has all the trappings of an Irish pub but with a back-lit bar that emits a warm, cozy glow. There’s plenty of room here, so if a game is on upstairs you can retreat to their basement for rich conversation over a rich, velvety stout like the Firestone Walker they keep on draft. If stouts aren’t your thing, they have plenty of other beer varieties (and ciders!) you can try, with the option to make your own flight for maximum sampling.
