PLAN DATE: TUES / JUN. 12
Start tonight at Marta, a polished Italian restaurant in a hotel dining room with an open kitchen. Their cracker-thin pizza is what sets them apart — pick any of their red, white or wood-fired options and you’ll be on the right track. We personally love the pollo ubriaco with beer-brined chicken, charred cabbage, fresno chili and mint.
And if you’re in the mood for more than just food tonight, you’re right by The Cutting Room, a live music and theater venue. They’ve featured everyone—from heavy hitters like John Mayer and Lady Gaga, to up-and-comers you’re sure to fall in love with. Plus, fun fact, it’s co-owned by Chris Noth (Big from Sex and the City). Take it from the owner, “We wanted a place where up and coming artists could get seen and established artists felt comfortable playing club gigs. We wanted a place with great sound, creative food, and cocktails where the venue itself was as beautiful as the music.” See all of their upcoming shows here.

idk tip: Order one of their Sundae Pops for dessert. We’d go with the s’mores or vanilla hazelnut crunch.

idk tip: The layout is a bit quirky so arrive early to get a decent seat for the show.
