Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Carnegie Deli Pop-Up x Milano’s Bar

Fans of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon, we have very good news for you. In celebration of their season 2 premiere, the Emmy award-winning show has teamed up with the owners of Carnegie Deli (which served New Yorkers for 79 years before closing in 2016) for a pop-up called Home of the Maisel. Expect sandwiches inspired by your favorite characters, cheesecake, and, of course, black and white cookies. It may be 2018 on the outside, but it is entirely 1958 on the inside. Including pricing! We’re talking 50c sandwiches, people. The pop up runs from December 1st—8th, and is a must-visit. We promise if you’re not fans of the show walking in, you will be when you walk out.

Afterward, continue with the old-school theme and head over to one of the last few OG New York City bars, Milano’s Bar. Around since 1880, this no-frills dive bar has walls decorated with pictures of bar patrons, movie posters, and Sinatra memorabilia that complement the decor — swinging saloon bathroom doors, a tin ceiling, and a tile floor. Whether you choose cocktails (we recommend the martinis) or beer, Milano’s promises a cozy end to your blast from the past.
