MoMA PS1 Summer Warm Up Series x Dutch Kills

It’s not really summer until MoMA PS1 has kicked off their Summer Warm Up Series, which means that in our eyes, today is the first official day of summer. You know the MoMA as the museum of modern and contemporary art where creativity and inspiration run rampant. Up the ante and the energy and you’ll get MoMA PS1, an artistic laboratory where emerging artists explore new genres. Taking place on Saturdays, Warm Up 2019 dips into this talent and creativity to present the best in live electronic music, with over 75 artists participating across nine Saturdays. Come dance, experience, and explore the soundscape and artist exhibitions within this glorious museum. We promise things will get a little trippy, but hey, you’ve got all week to recover from this date before doing it again and again.

After the beat drops for the last time, cool down with a drink at Dutch Kills. Named one of the World’s 50 Best Bars, this speakeasy-style bar is one of the best-kept secrets of LIC. We can’t get enough of the Prohibition-era cocktails made with hand-cut ice, house-made bitters and liqueurs, and intimate wooden booths.
