You can search by neighborhood, event type, or cuisine. Try "live music", "italian", "west village" or whatever sounds sexy to you.

Niche Niche x Special Club

Shake up the usual one-on-one routine at Ariel Arce’s Niche Niche in SoHo. Recently opened, the restaurant hosts $40 “dinner party” wine tastings Monday – Saturday at 6 and 8:15 p.m., featuring wines curated and introduced by local and international libation experts. Charcuterie and apps are on offer before each tasting, perfect for giving yourself a base; and for an additional $40, you can also partake in a family-style dinner complementing that night’s wines. Don’t worry, you can grab a booth or seat at the bar for some privacy, or arrive around 10 p.m. when the bar and lounge area opens to the public a la carte.

For a more intimate spot, head downstairs to Arce’s newly launched Special Club. In contrast to the comfy open kitchen/living room vibe upstairs, Special Club is a sultry throwback to yesteryear Social Clubs with live crooners, and banquettes and tables draped in deep red curtains, with heavy textured floral wallpaper. With seatings, Tuesday – Saturday at 8 and 10 p.m., a $20 cover that includes the jazz, blues or soul show, with additional charges for Japanese-inspired small bites and (an extensive choice of) drinks, also under the care of food director Zach Fabian.
