For an upscale picnic vibe, go to The Park. No, not Central Park, The Park. This restaurant boasts a glass-walled rooftop garden where you can eat surrounded by foliage, flowers, and hip clientele. The menu is as trendy as the setting, with bee pollen smoothies and ahi tuna salads next to American fare with an upscale twist like flatbreads topped with cauliflower or burgers with salmon and arugula. They’re also known for their specialty cocktails, so cool off with a Blue Mary—their version of a blueberry lemonade—or heat things up with a Park Cider or Bonfire.

After fueling up (or before, if you can’t work out on a full stomach), change into some athletic attire and get your heart racing from more than romantic chemistry with Sweat Sessions. A collaboration between the Meatpacking Business Improvement District and the Wealth Collective, this series of outdoor classes offers a chance to get your sweat on at the Hudson River 14th Street Park. Each class lasts 45 minutes and up to three classes are offered each night, ranging from yoga, dance, body weight, cardio, boxing, and pilates.
