PLAN DATE: TUES / MAR. 19
In our relationships, we can all get stuck in old patterns. What better way to break out of your Netflix on the couch routine than to make new patterns at a pattern printing class? At this workshop, you’ll be taught stamp and stencil techniques to create your very own designs. The class is taught by friendly and passionate art educator Hayley Ferber, so even those of us with little artistic ability will feel inspired. The class is held at Threes, a spacious bar with food and drink, so your class cost comes not only with materials but a drink to get your creative flow going.
Pep up for your artistic adventure with a dose of sugar from Ovenly. This bakery nails industrial chic with its exposed brick and concrete floor complimented by iron-wrought fixtures and botanical wallpaper. The offerings at Ovenly, however, have all the modernity and flavor-mash ups you could want (currant and rosemary scone, anyone?) The Brooklyn Blackout cake is super popular here and the salted chocolate chip cookie is a perfect take on a classic, but they also have more unusual offerings. Grab a pistachio agave cookie or a rosemary and currant scone to share, and enjoy the blissful sugar rush.
