PLAN DATE: WEDS / SEP. 5
First, let’s do food. And, while date night is all about you two lovebirds, tonight is also going to double as a dog-friendly evening, so if you’ve got a canine companion, bring ‘em along. Grab a seat at Randolph Beer WBURG (specifically at the patio seats outside the warehouse garage-style entrance), and dock your dog tableside. This trendy Williamsburg eatery is plastered in American pop culture-honoring graffiti, massive industrial ceiling fans, and a petite vertical garden rocking a melting neon heart. Serving classic American fare with a hip spin, this place is all about eclectic vibes and a pretty spectacular beer selection (located on a self-serve tap).
After dinner, take your pup for a quick walk down to Lucky Dog. This dog-friendly bar isn’t just cool with having your canine friend kicking curbside while you eat, but hanging out inside at the actual bar (which your dog is welcome to sit at, by the way). With a divey, but hip, ambiance, brick walls (coated in layers of signatures), and an outdoor patio/dog park with plenty of legroom for your four-legged friend, Lucky Dog is the hangout wonderland your pet never knew it needed. And, if you have trouble finding the place, the storefront sign is literally a picture of a dog.
Dinner, Drinks, Your Pup
Randolph Beer WBURG
104 S 4th Street, Brooklyn
idk tip: Things we’re obsessed with here: Maple Bacon Sprouts, Nutella Grilled Cheese, and Shishito Peppers. (What’s great is that the menu recommends the perfect beer for each option.)
303 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn
idk tip: If you don’t have a dog of your own, you’re still welcome to hang out and stare at other people’s dogs (which is not creepy at all).
