PLAN DATE: SAT / JUNE 15
SummerStage, New York’s largest free outdoor performing arts festival, is officially upon us. These well-produced and high-energy concerts take place at outdoor locations all around New York. From iconic performers to the latest up-and-coming artist, genres span the globe from indie to Afrobeat, Latin trap to soul, reggae to contemporary dance, fado to EDM, and everything in between. There are more than 100 shows in 18 neighborhood parks this summer, so check the full calendar here to prep your visit. We couldn’t be more excited for tonight’s concert in Central Park. You’re going to need to start listening to the Spotify playlist now (which they’ve created for every concert—amazing).
Before the show, stop by Via Quadronno for gourmet Italian panini, pastries, cappuccino, and wine served in a chic, old-world atmosphere. A true slice of Rome in New York. They make for the perfect dinner option before getting your groove on in the park. We love it the most on a rainy afternoon, but a beautiful day will have to do.
