PLAN DATE: THURS / JULY 25
Sittin’ pretty in Bushwick is The Gradient, a low key bar with a pink exterior and inside decor to match. This bar bumps solid tunes, serves specialty cocktails and a variety of next-level vegetarian eats. We’re talking serious comfort food, with a little less feeling of guilt. Start off your night with some nachos, arepitas, seitan “wings” and a gradient burger (made with Beyond “meat”). These plates are so good, you won’t think twice about missing meat. Also, if you show up from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., you can snag some cheap happy hour deals.
After dinner, swing by Lone Wolf to get a taste of where locals hang out and grab a drink or two. You won’t find craft beer here, but you’ll find cheap deals, a pool table and a ton of wolf portraits hanging on the wall. Low key vibe, but high-quality times to be had here.
