THE GIST

White Tiger is a great spot to stop in for a beer and some grub before heading out for the night in Prospect Heights. And bonus, Jessie and Ryan’s meals were entirely gluten-free and vegan. They couldn’t get enough of the kimchi fries — listen below.

Jessie's Take

Food Rating: 7

The “Charred Brussels Sprouts” weren’t charred at all. Tasty, but not what I was expecting. The Sesame Gnocchi was very good, but a little too rich!

Service Rating: 9

It was all very average; nothing really of note.

Fun Factor: 8

I think if the food was a little better, it would have been an overall better experience. They had a good beer selection, which we appreciated. Very cool decor inside.

Ryan's Take

Food Rating: 8

I had the korean fried chicken which was pretty great. It came with a side of greens that were in this really tasty sesame ginger sauce. Also the charred Brussels sprouts were pretty good.

Service Rating: 9

No wait, server was very attentive. No issues!

Fun Factor: 8

It’s a cool atmosphere. Right amongst lots of great bars and Ample Hills…so it’s a good place to grab a bite and a beer before going out.
